Blog One: Wonder Question

 What is a topic of personal and global significance that I might want to research?

I wonder how the pandemic is impacting education both in the United States and also globally.  I am really interested in this topic because I am a teacher, but also because I have had the amazing opportunity to travel and work with schools in other countries as well.  I am especially connected to the country Liberia because our church helps support a school there and I have gone to do teacher training a few times.  

Although there are many negative impacts on education because of prolonged school closures and less access, I also wonder if this time has inspired some new and creative education ideas, which in the long run will have a really positive effect.  I think there are always ways to learn and grow even in the most challenging circumstances, and I look forward to finding out some of the ways educators across the world are doing that.
