Quality: Does it include worthwhile, solid information? Why or why not?
This article gives a strong and clear point of view about Education Pods in the midst of the global pandemic. There are few specific facts covered, but the points of view are supported with some details. To utilize this information I would want to get a more balanced view with more specific facts to look at it from various perspectives.
Content: What information is covered? (A brief summary)
The focus of this particular article is on the impact Education Pods will have on education in the long term. These Education Pods are described as small groups gathering to hire a tutor, or have parents oversee their children's remote education together. It argues that this will be a big problem for the equality of education, and that when societies do not prioritize all children it is a sign that that society is in decline.
Usefulness: How does it help answer your specific question?
The information in this article covers one aspect of education in the face of the Pandemic, particular to the United States. I am more interested in how learning is being impacted on a large scale, and what those impacts will mean for this generation of children. This may be an important element, but I need a larger perspective first.
